My name is Jóannes Johannesen. I'm from the Faroe Islands. I have many hobbies, or I should rather say I had many hobbies until I discovered photography, it's time consuming so every other hobby that I used to have just has to be put on hold, for now at least. I started taking pictures with my IXUS 800 in 2006. In the summer of 2009 I bought the Canon EOS 500D and it really got me hooked on photography, and that's where the fun and joy began. I mainly shoot Landscape photography, it's probably the easiest to start out with. I have found out that I seem to enjoy night photos and the time that it takes too shoot them. Hopefully I'll have time to explore other styles in the near future, and hopefully you like some of my pictures.
